National Geographic Kids magazine

Starting up in 1975 in the USA, National Geographic Kids was launched in South Africa in 2004. The South African edition is notably the first licensed English edition of any of the nine National Geographic Kids magazines! In fact, it has become so popular that we now also publish it in Afrikaans!

This title speaks to boys and girls aged 6-12 (LSM 7-10). Our message is to educate, entertain and excite kids about their world today! We have a national distribution with a print run of 50,000 copies.

Our editorial content is an appealing mix of articles on wildlife, science, technology, extreme sports, adventures, special kids and world wonders, with exciting sections such as Inside Scoop, Just Joking, Kids Did IT!, Fun Stuff, Art Department, Amazing Animals, Guinness World Records and Technology.
