NATIONAL GEOGRAPHIC KIDS REMAINS TOP TITLE

National Geographic Kids remains the largest kids’ magazine in terms of circulation according to the first quarter results released by the Audit Bureau of Circulation today.

NG KIDS has shown market sustainability with the latest figures confirmed at 38 259 for the period January to March 2010. This includes Afrikaans copy sales which account for 36% of the total paid circulation. “We’re satisfied with the results," says publisher Dene Strain. "We’ve made the move to tighten up our print orders to reduce wastage, which increased efficiency."

This dynamic kids’ title continues to scoop industry awards with recent wins at Finweek’s AdReview Awards, the AdVantage AdMag Awards and a merit at the New York One Show. “We’re working hard to produce a product which entices both readers and advertisers and the recognition we’ve received, is clearly evident of that,” says editor Fiona Thomson.
